Privacy Policy

Effective 2 July 2026 · applies to the Passd website and the Passd iOS & Android apps

The short version

Passd has no accounts, no sign-up, and no ads. We do not collect, store, or sell your personal information. Your saved homes live only on your device.

What the app stores on your device

• Saved homes and viewed states — kept in local storage on your device only. Deleting the app (or clearing browser data) removes them. They are never uploaded.
• A cached copy of the property dataset — so the app works offline.

Subscriptions (apps only)

Subscriptions are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see or store your payment details. We use RevenueCat to validate subscription status; RevenueCat receives an anonymous app-generated identifier and purchase receipts — not your name, email, or payment details.

Services the app talks to

• Our data feed (GitHub Pages) — fetches the weekly property dataset. GitHub may log standard request metadata (IP, user agent) like any web host; see GitHub's privacy statement.
• OpenStreetMap tiles — the map images; requests go to OSM tile servers (OSMF privacy policy).
• Nominatim — only when you use “Search the map for…”, your typed location query is sent to OSM's geocoder to find the place.
• Listing links — tapping “View listing” or “Search” opens the external site (soho.com.au or Google) in your browser, governed by their policies.

Analytics & tracking

None. No analytics SDKs, no advertising identifiers, no tracking.

Property data

The homes shown are public auction results (REIV for Melbourne/VIC; Domain's public weekend results for Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Canberra) enriched with public listing price guides. This is information about properties, not people. If you are an agent or vendor and want a record corrected, contact us.

Children

Passd is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal information from anyone.
